What should you be looking for? 

Are all newly built homes perfect? While they are new, we can all argue that no home is ever "perfect". When buying any home, we always recommend getting a home inspection performed by a professional licensed home inspector. I have provided a few questions you can ask yourself when going through a home. What you are looking for is how 'well' the home was built.  But you should also consider the items you can't see that are relevant to the home buying process. 

  • What is the reputation of the builder?
  • Is this the first home this builder has built? 
  • Does the builder provide a 1-year Builder's Warranty?
    Assuming yes, ensure you read what is included in the warranty. (Tip: Do not assume they will fix anything
