A lot of the construction in this subdivision was completed between the years of 2011 and 2012, and the neighborhood has really grown and established itself during the past decade and a half. 

Architecturally, homes for sale in North Star are built in the traditional farmhouse/ranch style, with distinctive siding, large porches, and gable roofs. A majority of the homes are bungalows, though in rare occasions there is the odd multi-story/split-level property. As North Star is not a new subdivision, trees in front yards have matured, increasing curb appeal. Front and backyards are sizeable, with the latter fenced in, and offer great places to entertain during the warmer months. Backyard sheds and workshops are popular amongst residents, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and play in.

Additionally, there are views of the mountains right from the residential streets in North Star. Quail Run Park is the nearest park, and it has a small playground, picnic benches, and a sports field. The closest school is Monforton Elementary School, while the Montana State University campus is a 15-minute drive away.

North Star Subdivision is just a short drive away from Four Corners' commercial areas, situated off of the MT-85/Jackrabbit Lane. These plazas contain fitness studios, preschools and daycares, restaurants and cafes, and more. North Star is about a 20-minute drive to Bozeman, which makes this subdivision is a great choice for commuting professionals.
