Bridger Canyon runs parallel to the Bridger Range on the west and the Bangtails to the east. It is the corridor that leads us to that ultimate of snowy playgrounds, Bridger Bowl. There are also numerous backcountry skiing and 'mobiling opportunities along the canyon. For the XC crowd, Bohart Ranch has numerous trails of all skill levels. For warm weather pursuits there are numerous areas for camping, such as the Battle Ridge camping area and Fairy Lake (which is a popular jumping off point for hikes to Sacajewea and Hardscrabble). And speaking of putting on your hiking boots, there's also quick access to trailheads such as Stone Creek, Olson Creek, the Bangtail Divide trail (which happens to be a renowned mountain biking destination as well), and the M just past the southern end of the canyon.
Bridger Canyon real-estate is among the most beautiful and desirable in the Bozeman area, with the rugged Bridgers on one side, and the rolling hills of the Bangtail range opposite, there is no such thing as a poor location in the canyon. Bozeman, and it's many offerings is a quick, easy drive away but you still retain a very generous helping of elbow room.
