Wednesday, December 11th - Sunday, December 15th: Black Diamond presents The Bozeman Ice Climbing Festival, a signature event of the Ice Climbing Alliance. Join other ice climbing fanatics in promoting and preserving access and quality experiences across Montana. It's time for our Monday Market Update for Bozeman City Limits.

This week we are comparing condominium and townhouse statistics for October 2019. Condominiums in Bozeman City limits sold for 98.1% of their asking price for an average of $335,792 while townhouses sold for 97.9% of their asking price for an average of $333,467.

28 condos have gone under contract and 42 sold in October. As for townhouses, 5 townhouses went under contract and 6 sold. 

There were a total of 99 condos for sale with an average days on market of 63. Only 31 townhouses were actively for sale with an average of 38 days on the market. If properties were on the market longer there are several factors that could have contributed to that; price, location, and layout.

Wednesday, December 4th, Montana State University is hosting their 5th annual “Lights on Montana Hall.” A lighting ceremony that is open to the public and located the Alumni Plaza and Bobcat Spirit Statue. Between 5:30 - 6:30 pm listen to carols, Madrigal Singers, remarks by MSU President, see draft horses, MSU Cheerleaders, and finally a drum line as the countdown to the illumination of the lights. Good Morning Bozemanites! It's time for our Monday Market Update for Bozeman City Limits.

We decided to change things up a little and compare Bozeman City Limits statistics to outside Bozeman City Limits for October 2019.

Single family homes within city limits sold for 98.4% of their asking price with an average sales price of $501,974 while homes outside city limits sold for 98% of their asking price with an average sales price of $826,349. 

More properties are coming onto the marking within the city as new listings totaled 53 while outside city limits was 23.  More properties are also selling within the city as October totaled 54 closed sales and outside the city 30 properties sold. 

There were a total of 126 homes for sale inside
