Downtown Bozeman Trick-or-Treating 2025: A Spooktacular Halloween Tradition
Halloween in Bozeman is about to get spooktacular! The Downtown Bozeman Association and local businesses are once again teaming up to bring one of the most anticipated family events of the year — Downtown Bozeman Trick-or-Treating 2025!
Join the fun on Friday, October 31st, from 4–6 PM, as Main Street transforms into a festive Halloween wonderland. Over 100 local businesses will be handing out treats to costumed kids (and maybe a few parents, too!), making it the perfect opportunity to celebrate safely while supporting local shops and restaurants.
This year’s event comes with an exciting update — for the safety of everyone participating, the City of Bozeman will close Main Street from Grand to Church Streets from 3–7 PM. That means no vehicle traffic or parking along this stretch, allowing families to enjoy a truly walkable and worry-free experience. Be sure to move your car before 3 PM, and plan for a bit of extra time to find parking nearby.
With the Bozeman Police and Fire Departments on-site to help manage safety and crowds, and dozens of businesses decked out in Halloween spirit, you can expect an evening filled with laughter, costumes, candy, and community connection.
The best part? This beloved Halloween celebration is completely free and open to everyone. Whether it’s rain, snow, or shine (and in Bozeman, you never know!), families will be out enjoying one of downtown’s most cherished traditions.
As a local Realtor who loves seeing our community come alive with seasonal fun, I can confidently say — events like this remind us just how special Bozeman is. It’s a chance to stroll our historic Main Street, see familiar faces, and make new memories with neighbors and friends.
