Activities to Honor & Enjoy Memorial Day in the Bozeman Area

Memorial Day is much more than a long weekend, it is a day to honor the great sacrifices of those who lost their lives in service of our great nation. I find that a great way to reflect on Memorial weekend is to embrace the turn of the seasons by going out into the great outdoors. On Memorial Day, we take a moment to mourn those who have not only served, but who gave their lives for our freedoms. There is something truly special about stepping out into the American landscapes, especially the Montana landscape, and reminding myself how thankful I am to live in a beautiful, free place. Bozeman offers many recreational opportunities from the community Main Street to the Mountain trails to backcountry hikes that bring you to breathtaking mountain lakes.
