PNKBZN 2026: Downtown Bozeman Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Downtown Bozeman is turning pink this October, and the color carries a much bigger purpose.
PNKBZN returns October 1–31, 2026, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bringing together Downtown Bozeman businesses, local organizations, Montana State University, and members of the community to raise awareness, encourage breast health screenings, and support people affected by cancer throughout Montana.
Throughout October, look for pink banners lining Main Street, decorated storefronts, community events, and special "PNK Promotions" at participating Bozeman businesses.
Many of those promotions directly benefit Cancer Support Community Montana and other organizations providing resources and support to people affected by cancer.

What Is PNKBZN?
PNKBZN is a community-wide Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign designed to make an impact right here in Bozeman and across Montana.
The initiative brings together Advanced Medical Imaging, Bozeman Health, Cancer Support Community Montana, the Downtown Bozeman Partnership, Montana State University, and Montana State University Athletics, with graphic design support from PRIME Incorporated.
The campaign focuses on encouraging awareness of breast screening guidelines, helping people understand how to access screening and diagnostic resources, increasing conversations surrounding cancer awareness, and sharing stories from people in our community who have experienced breast cancer.
One of the most visible pieces of PNKBZN happens throughout Downtown Bozeman, where businesses turn Main Street pink for the month.
Downtown Bozeman Turns PNK for October
Beginning October 1, pink banners will line Main Street, and participating retailers, restaurants, hotels, and businesses will add pink touches of their own.
Many participating businesses are also offering special PNKBZN promotions that transform everyday purchases into opportunities to support organizations serving people affected by cancer.
That means supporting PNKBZN can be as simple as grabbing dinner, ordering a drink, buying a treat, shopping locally, or attending one of the community events happening throughout October.
2026 PNKBZN Promotions Around Bozeman
More than 20 local businesses are participating in PNKBZN promotions in 2026. Here are some of the ways you can participate throughout October.
Food & Drink
Bitterroot Bistro is donating a portion of each Bitterroot Fizz, made with prosecco and dragon fruit, sold during October to Cancer Support Community Montana.
Bozeman Co-op's Downtown and West locations are donating $1 per pound of participating salmon sold and $0.75 per carton of raspberries.
Carlisle is donating $1 for every glass of rosé sold during October.
Gute Laune is donating $2 from each half-pound heart-shaped pretzel sold throughout the month.
Lockhorn Hard Cider is donating $1 from every Black Currant cider sold and will also sell raffle tickets throughout October, with proceeds benefiting Cancer Support Community Montana.
Plonk is donating $1 for every Plonk Cosmo or house rosé ordered during October.
Sweet Peaks Ice Cream is turning its vanilla ice cream PNK and donating 13% of sales from the pink vanilla flavor.
The Kimpton Armory Hotel is participating across Fielding's, Sky Shed, and Tune Up Bar, with $1 from participating purchases donated to Cancer Support Community Montana.

Alara is offering 15% off participating talismanic and symbolic jewelry throughout October.
Cello is pairing donations with savings on full-price clothing. Donate $10 and receive $15 off a clothing purchase, or donate $20 and receive $30 off.
Damselfly is directing its Round-Up Program to Cancer Support Community Montana.
Heyday is donating 100% of proceeds from every "boob candle" sold during October to Casting for Recovery's Southwest Montana program.
Intrigue Ink is donating 100% of proceeds from its custom "Pink Lady Gang" sticker to Cancer Support Community Montana.
Two Trick Pony is donating 100% of sales from participating pink trucker hats, tees, and sweatshirts to Cancer Support Community Montana.
Wild Wisdom Collective is offering 20% off all things PNK.
Wildflower is featuring special pink T-shirts and bracelets by Erin Gray, with profits benefiting Cancer Support Community Montana.
More Ways to Give Back
After 5 and Weddings is giving customers opportunities to donate through a QR code in exchange for discounts on qualifying bridal purchases and men's suits.
Element Bozeman's Stay for a Cause promotion is donating $1 for every room sold during October.
The Ridge Athletic Club is donating 50% of October enrollment fees to Cancer Support Community Montana and plans an additional member-focused fundraiser.
Suelto Montana Lingerie is giving customers five different ways to trigger a $5 donation to Cancer Support Community Montana. Complete all five and the business will donate $25.
PNKBZN Promenade Kicks Off October 1
October begins with one of PNKBZN's signature community events: the third annual PNKBZN Promenade through Downtown Bozeman.
Wear your best pink attire and meet outside the Rocking R Bar at 4:30 PM on Thursday, October 1.
The group will walk west along the north side of Main Street, turn at Grand Avenue and proceed east along the south side of Main back toward the Rocking R Bar.
The Promenade is an easy way to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bring visibility to the campaign and show support alongside other members of the Bozeman community.
Go Bowling for a Cause on October 9
PNKBZN is adding a particularly fun fundraiser to the 2026 calendar: PNKBZN Bowling.
The event takes place Friday, October 9 from 12:30–4:30 PM at Bozeman Bowl.
Registration is $20 per person and includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, a pink tote bag and one soda or mocktail drink ticket.
You can register as an individual and bowl alongside other community members or register a group of eight for a discounted group rate.
The event will also feature a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, with proceeds supporting local nonprofit organizations providing resources to people affected by breast cancer.
And, of course, pink attire is encouraged.
More PNKBZN Events to Watch in October
The month-long campaign extends beyond Main Street with additional events and limited-time promotions throughout Bozeman.
Ascension Studio is planning a full Saturday of donation-based classes on October 17, with four classes throughout the morning and donations benefiting Cancer Support Community Montana. The studio is also donating a portion of sales from special PNK Ascension sweatshirts.
Cancer Support Community Montana's current October calendar also includes MSU Volleyball Bingo at Shroyer Gym on October 24, a Zephyr Fitness Club Pulse Class on October 25 and a PNKBZN Party at Cancer Support Community Montana's Bozeman office on October 27.

Montana State Packs the Place in Pink
PNKBZN also extends into the Montana State University community through the annual Pack the Place in Pink tradition.
For 2026, Montana State encouraged Bobcat fans to wear pink during the September 19 home football game against Central Connecticut State.
Limited-edition Pack the Place in Pink apparel was created for the campaign, with participating retailers donating a portion of sales to Pack the Place in Pink, a Montana nonprofit that provides financial assistance to breast cancer patients across the state.
The organization has distributed more than $1.2 million to breast cancer patients in Montana since it was founded.

Why PNKBZN Matters Beyond October
The pink banners, specialty products, and community events make PNKBZN highly visible, but the campaign ultimately points back to something much more important: awareness, screening, education, and support.
For someone navigating a cancer diagnosis, medical treatment can be only one part of the experience. Families may also face financial pressure, emotional stress, changes to everyday routines, and the need for additional support.
Organizations like Cancer Support Community Montana help provide resources and community for people affected by cancer and their families.
