Proposed Sites - Ballots are due May 8th

Bozeman’s School district is anticipating a sizable enrollment growth, exceeding current facility capacities by 2021. Proactive action has been taken. The School District has chosen two new locations for potential building of a future elementary school. One proposed site is a 20-acre plot near the northeast intersection of Baxter and Davis Lane. The other proposed site is a 10-acre plot south of Huffine, between Gooch Hill Road and Love Lane.

Deadline: Submit your ballot by Tuesday, May 8th, 2018

Both sites will be purchased with already existing funds from the sale of other district properties. While taxpayers will not be funding the project, Montana law dictates that schools must obtain voter approval before purchasing a new school site.

This year's ballots will be mailed on April 23.  They can be returned by mail or in person to the County Election Office.  Please allow enough time for delivery prior to the May 8, 2018 deadline.
