Statistics for Big Sky County MLS for August 2020 have been released and we are excited to share what the market has done over the last month and compared to August 2019. 

  • Average Sales Price for Single Family Homes have seen an increase of 18% jumping to $622,766. While Condo/Townhouses also saw an increase of 19.6% rising the Average Sales Price to $365,296.

  • Closed Sales have increased for Single Family Homes with a total of 71 closed transactions, up from 65 in 2019. Condo/Townhouses have also seen an increase of 47.1% with 75 Closed Sales.

It's time for our Monday Market Update for Bozeman City Limits.

This week we are comparing condominium and townhouse statistics for July 2020

Condominiums in Bozeman City Limits sold for 99% of their asking price for an average of $339,894 while townhouses sold for 98.5% of their asking price for an average of $351,255.

83 condos have gone under contract and 55 sold in July. As for townhouses, 14 went under contract and 19 sold. 

There were a total of 72 condos for sale with an average days on market of 41. Only 15 townhouses were actively for sale with an average of 54 days on the market. If properties were on the market longer there are several factors that could have contributed to that; price, location, and layout.
