The 26th Annual Cruisin’ on Main Car Show returns on Sunday, August 16, 2026, bringing hundreds of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles to historic Main Street.

Hosted by the Downtown Bozeman Association and Cancer Support Community Montana, this statewide event is much more than a car show. It is a celebration of Montana’s automotive heritage, a gathering of car enthusiasts from across the region, and an important fundraiser supporting individuals and families impacted by cancer throughout Montana.

A tradition that gives back

Since 2001, the Downtown Bozeman Association has hosted Cruisin’ on Main, making it one of the premier classic car events in the state. Since 2011, the event has partnered with Cancer Support Community Montana to raise awareness and funds for Montanans affected by cancer.

Together, this partnership has raised more than $400,000 to support Cancer Support Community Montana’s free programs and services, ensuring that no one faces cancer alone.

Cancer Support Community Montana provides support, fosters compassionate communities, and breaks down barriers to care for individuals and families impacted by cancer across the state. Events like Cruisin’ on Main help make these vital services possible.

What to expect at the 2026 show

On Sunday morning, Main Street will close to traffic and transform into a showcase of hundreds of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Whether you are a lifelong car enthusiast or simply enjoy seeing beautifully restored vehicles, there will be something for everyone.

Visitors can look forward to:

• Hundreds of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles on display

• More than 15 trophies awarded across various vehicle classes

• The coveted “Best in Show” award

• People’s Choice voting for favorite vehicles

• Live music from Pony Express

• Food vendors and refreshments

• Prize drawings and a 50/50 raffle

The atmosphere during Cruisin’ on Main is what makes it so memorable. Families stroll through Downtown Bozeman, friends gather to admire vintage vehicles, and car owners proudly share the stories behind their prized rides.

Pre-packet pick-up and Main Street cruise

The excitement begins before the main event. On Saturday, August 15, 2026, registered participants can join the Pre-Packet Pick-Up and Main Street Cruise from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kimpton Armory Hotel.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see classic vehicles cruising down Main Street and enjoy the energy of Downtown Bozeman before the official car show begins.

Register your ride

If you have a classic car, truck, or motorcycle you would like to showcase, advance registration is available through the Downtown Bozeman Association.

The registration deadline is July 31, 2026.

Same-day registration will also be available beginning at 8:00 AM on Sunday morning at the south intersection of Black Avenue and Main Street.

All registered vehicles will receive a complimentary dash plaque and a gift bag filled with goodies and business coupons.
