Bozeman is an outdoorsy community with a dog in almost every home.

Bozeman won 2nd place in Dog Fancy Magazine’s Most Dog-Friendly Towns in the U.S. Bozeman has a population of roughly 45,000 and a dog population of 30,000. 

A well-exercised dog is a happy and healthy dog. It is very common to see dogs joining their families hiking, camping, swimming, hunting, or even strolling Downtown Main Street where local shops will have water bowls out front for thirsty pups passing by.

• Finish off the night at The Gallatin County Fairgrounds for The Festival of the Fourth starting at 9 PM

 The Gallatin River Festival returns to Big Sky this weekend, June 28th - June 30th, 2019. 

Join fellow nature enthusiasts for three days of action-packed fun celebrating river recreation and conservation! Wonder into the Montana-made spirits garden and dance along to music by the Bridger Creek Boys. In 2018, the festival invested $100,000 into Gallatin River for future generations.

School is out and summer is here! Kid friendly events occurring this week June 24th - June 29th, 2019.

 

We know having the kids home for summer can be beautifully chaotic. So we have compiled kid friendly events happening this week around Bozeman.

Tuesday, June 25th 
• MSU is hosting a Free Football Camp at Bobcat Stadium for Kids ages 7 - 13 years from 6 pm - 9 pm. This is a two day training camp and kids are encouraged to attend both days.
• 5 pm - 8 pm cruise over to Bogert Park for the Bogert Farmer’s Market

Wednesday, June 26th
• Attend Free Fly Fishing Class hosted by Montana Angler’s at 5:45 pm

Thursday, June 27th
• Head Downtown to the Kid's Zone during Music On Main kicking off at 7 pm

Attention Bozemanites! A proposal for a new subdivision, called Gran Cielo, which has been in the works since October 2017 is finally catching some momentum.

The Gran Cielo Subdivision would be located northwest of S. 27th Avenue and Graf Street and would extend over 48.754 acres. In hopes to increase affordable housing in the area, this subdivision would consist of 124 residential townhouses, three open space lots and two parks.

This week marks the opening of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks! Today, Wednesday, June 12th at 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM will be the premiere of Henry IV Part I. Grab a blanket or bring a chair and meet us there! Productions are held at the MSU Duck Pond at 11th and Grant.

Can’t make it this Wednesday? Don’t fret! Shows repeat DAILY until June 22nd. Productions this year will be Henry IV Part 1 and The Merry Wives of Windsor.
