REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE | BOZEMAN CITY LIMITS
Statistics from Big Sky Country MLS for May 2021 have been released! So let's compare it to May 2020.
- Average Sales Price for Single Family Homes are starting to creep back up after April's plateau with a 41.2% increase, bumping to $745,179. Condo/Townhouses also saw an increase of 50.2% rising the Average Sales Price to $504,587.
- Closed Sales have actually begun to increase for Single Family Homes with a total of 51 closed transactions, up from 41 in 2020. Condo/Townhouses are also increasing by 25.8% with 39 Closed Sales.
- Inventory of Single Family Homes is still at a deficit by -65.9% with only 31 homes vs. 91 this time last year. Inventory of Condo/Townhouse has seen a higher decrease at -89.6% with only 16, down from 154 in May 2020.
- Lastly, this statistic is always interesting. Percent of homes sold at or above list price came in at 102.5% for Single Family Homes and 104.1% for a Condo/Townhouse.
