REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE | BOZEMAN CITY LIMITS

Statistics for Big Sky County MLS for July 2020 have been released and we are excited to share what the market has done over the last month and compared to July 2019. 

  • Average Sales Price for Single Family Homes have seen an increase of $18,125 jumping to $542,876 (down $2,321 from June 2020). While Condo/Townhouses also saw an increase of 2.7% increasing the Average Sales Price to $342,851.

  • Closed Sales have increased for Single Family Homes with a total of 81 closed transactions, up from 73 in 2019. Condo/Townhouses have also seen an increase of 37% with 74 Closed Sales.

  • Inventory of Single Family Homes has decreased by 50% to only 68 homes vs. 136 this time last year.  Inventory…

Statistics for Big Sky County MLS for June 2020 have been released and we are excited to share what the market has done over the last month and compared to June 2019. 

  • Average Sales Price for Single Family Homes have seen an increase of $56,717 jumping to $545,197. While Condo/Townhouses saw a decrease of 14.7% dropping the Average Sales Price to $291,791!

  • Closed Sales have slightly increased for Single Family Homes with a total of 66 closed transactions, up from 61 in 2019. Condo/Townhouses have also seen an increase of 10% with 55 Closed Sales.

  • Inventory of Single Family Homes has decreased by 31.2% to only 86 homes vs. 125 this time last year.  Inventory of Condo/Townhouse has increased…

It's time for our Monday Market Update for Bozeman City Limits.

This week we are comparing condominium and townhouse statistics for December 2019. Condominiums in Bozeman City limits sold for 98% of their asking price for an average of $389,687 while townhouses sold for 100% of their asking price for an average of $381,169.

20 condos have gone under contract and 19 sold in December. As for townhouses, 3 townhouses went under contract and 3 sold. 

There were a total of 70 condos for sale with an average days on market of 17. Only 27 townhouses were actively for sale with an average of 107 days on the market! If properties were on the market longer there are several factors that could have contributed to that; price, location, and layout.

It's time for our Monday Market Update for Bozeman City Limits.

This week we are comparing condominium and townhouse statistics for November 2019. Condominiums in Bozeman City limits sold for 98.5% of their asking price for an average of $376,736 while townhouses sold for 98.5% of their asking price for an average of $320,019.

20 condos have gone under contract and 25 sold in November. As for townhouses, 2 townhouses went under contract and 8 sold. 

There were a total of 85 condos for sale with an average days on market of 64. Only 27 townhouses were actively for sale with an average of 22 days on the market. If properties were on the market longer there are several factors that could have contributed to that; price, location, and layout.

This week we are comparing condominium and townhouse statistics for October 2019. Condominiums in Bozeman City limits sold for 98.1% of their asking price for an average of $335,792 while townhouses sold for 97.9% of their asking price for an average of $333,467.

28 condos have gone under contract and 42 sold in October. As for townhouses, 5 townhouses went under contract and 6 sold. 

There were a total of 99 condos for sale with an average days on market of 63. Only 31 townhouses were actively for sale with an average of 38 days on the market. If properties were on the market longer there are several factors that could have contributed to that; price, location, and layout.
