Bozeman is one of the fastest growing micropolitan cities in all of America. This means our Gallatin Valley real estate market is also rapidly growing and changing as well.
Big Sky MLS released a 2018 Annual real estate market report and the results did not disappoint.
Here are some key takeaway stats from the report:
- In Gallatin County, we saw an average sales price rise by 13.4% in 2018 compared to 2017.
- One of the many factors to the rise in pricing is due to the low inventory which dropped by 14.6% from 2017 to 2018.
- Within the Bozeman City Limits, the total sales closed increased by 3.6% in 2018 and the percent of list priced received came in at 99.1% of all sold homes in the area.
This Annual Report features many more interesting facts and statistics including this chart outlining historical median prices. These statistics within Bozeman City Limits shows that the median sales price of homes has risen by 45.2% from 2014 to 2018!
