REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE | BOZEMAN CITY LIMITS

Statistics for Big Sky County MLS for July 2020 have been released and we are excited to share what the market has done over the last month and compared to July 2019. 

  • Average Sales Price for Single Family Homes have seen an increase of $18,125 jumping to $542,876 (down $2,321 from June 2020). While Condo/Townhouses also saw an increase of 2.7% increasing the Average Sales Price to $342,851.

  • Closed Sales have increased for Single Family Homes with a total of 81 closed transactions, up from 73 in 2019. Condo/Townhouses have also seen an increase of 37% with 74 Closed Sales.

  • Inventory of Single Family Homes has decreased by 50% to only 68 homes vs. 136 this time last year.  Inventory…

This week we are comparing condominium and townhouse statistics for June 2020

Condominiums in Bozeman City Limits sold for 99.3% of their asking price for an average of $297,006 while townhouses sold for 98.5% of their asking price for an average of $283,349.

89 condos have gone under contract and 34 sold in June. As for townhouses, 15 went under contract and 21 sold. 

There were a total of 106 condos for sale with an average days on market of 39. Only 21 townhouses were actively for sale with an average of 23 days on the market. If properties were on the market longer there are several factors that could have contributed to that; price, location, and layout.

Single Family Homes within Bozeman City Limits sold for 98.9% of their asking price with an average sales price of $545,197 while homes in Belgrade City Limits sold for 99.2% of their asking price with an average sales price of $346,575.   

More properties are coming onto the marking within the City of Bozeman as new listings totaled 82 while Belgrade City Limits was 31.  More properties are selling within the city of Bozeman as June totaled 66 closed sales and 28 properties sold in Belgrade City Limits.
